CASTING CALL: Upcoming TBA Production

Upcoming TBA Production

Presented in Native Earth's Aki Studio, Toronto. All performers cast in this production must be Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis).

Audition Dates: June 18 and 19, 2026
Rehearsal Dates: February 8 – March 7, 2027
Production Run: March 9 – 28, 2027

We are auditioning for the following roles:

VINCENT JONES / JERRY -
A Black Indigenous man in his 30s. Vincent is the realtor of the property, originally from Virginia. Warm, intelligent, and empathetic.

WHITE MAN / THE QUAKER -
A middle-aged Indigenous performer portraying a white-presenting father figure familiar from paranormal horror films. A wounded golden retriever type, working hard to connect with his daughter and generally likeable. Plays multiple versions of this archetype, as well as The Quaker.

WHITE GIRL -
A teenage Indigenous performer portraying a white-presenting teenage girl who is upset about being forced to move during her senior year of high school. Plays multiple versions of this archetype.

WHITE GIRL 2 / THE MEDIUM -
A teenage Indigenous performer portraying a white-presenting girl who knows the town's mysterious lore and befriends White Girl. Also plays The Medium and additional variations of the character.

This production will be engaged under the Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA).

We encourage all artists, whether Equity members or not, to submit.

Native Earth Performing Arts may also directly invite artists to audition.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

Selected artists will be provided with sides in advance of the audition. It will not be necessary to be off book.
